On Thursday, 29 November 2018 at 19.00 hrs (local time), the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organised a reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father’s Day at St. Regis Hotel Doha. H.E. Dr. Issa bin Saad Al-Jafali Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Yousef bin Mohamed Al-Othman Fakhroo, Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs were present as the Guests of Honour representing the Government of the State of Qatar. The reception was also attended by H.E.  Ambassador Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhroo, Director of Protocol Department, and H.E. Mr. Rashid Al-Duhaimi, Assistant Director of Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, and around 300 distinguished guests from members of the Diplomatic Corps and their spouses, officials and representatives of the Qatari governmental and private sectors, academics, local journalists, and Thai community in the State of Qatar. 

 

H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, delivered his speech paying tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and made his remarks on key policies under the Royal Thai Government, Thailand’s economy and its potential, and bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the State of Qatar, focusing on the exchange of visits and promotion of economic cooperation.
