On 29 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Qatar, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s assumption of duty. During the meeting, both sides discussed the overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Qatar and ways to promote economic interactions, especially on the development of modern technological infrastructure for conducting business. H.E. Ambassador commended Qatar's exceptional technological infrastructure and the country’s significant role in providing technology to the developing countries. H.E. the Minister welcomed H.E. Ambassador to Qatar and expressed the Ministry's full support for the Embassy's endeavors and promoting cooperation in areas of telecommunications and information technology between the two countries.
