Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar met with Rector of Fatoni University during the visit to Qatar to strengthen cooperation with Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs

On 28 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ismail Lutfi Japakiya, Rector of Fatoni University and Mr. Saleh Talek, CEO of Pattani Jaya Project, during their visit to Qatar from 25 – 28 August 2024.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Qatar, the roles of international charity networks, and the promotion of education and the Halal industry in Thailand.

Additionally, on 25 August 2024, the delegation from Fatoni university met with H.E. Ghanem bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, to discuss ways to strengthen constructive cooperation between religious organizations of Thailand and Qatar
