The Qatari delegation included executives from the Qatar University’s International Affairs Office, Agricultural Research Station and College of Shariah and Islamic Studies.

During this meeting, both sides exchanged views and explored opportunities for academic cooperation across various dimensions, particularly in the fields of agricultural science research and the integration of Islamic principles into the Halal accreditation process. Moreover, they deliberated on the potential cooperation, including the establishment of a joint chair between Qatar University and Thai universities, aimed at facilitating the exchange of expertise, researchers, and students.

The Royal Thai Embassy remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting Thailand’s research and innovation efforts, including the HCS’s pioneering innovation in food adulteration detection and the compilation of non-Haram ingredients (H-Numbers). This collaboration represents a significant milestone in enhancing bilateral ties and aligns with Thailand’s priority agendas and Qatar’s Vision 2030 for human resources developments and fostering economic benefits between the people of both countries.
