On 15 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, accompanied by Embassy officials, visited Isaan restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel. During the visit, he had the opportunity to engage with Mr. Adisak Onjan, the restaurant manager of Isaan, and also to interact with numerous Thai staffs employed at the restaurant. In this occasion, H.E. Ambassador inquired about the well-being, living conditions, and work experiences of the approximately 30 Thai staffs individuals who were working at both the restaurant and the hotel. Moreover, he extended his appreciation for the staff members' diligent efforts in not only promoting the popularity of Thai cuisine but also contributing to the positive perception of Thai hospitality in Qatar. The Royal Thai Embassy places significant emphasis on consular affairs, aiming to foster an enriching environment and enhance the overall well-being of Thai workers.
