On 16 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, attended the opening of the “Zari Exhibition” by Maryam Al-Tajer at Katara Cultural Village. This exhibition showcased the art and cultural heritage of local traditions, both past and present, related to the embroidery of bisht, which are traditional cloaks worn by men in Arab culture, including the intricate golden embroidery on these cloaks for special occasions. During this event, H.E. Ambassador had the opportunity to meet Mr. Saif Saad Al Dosari, Deputy General Manager of Katara Cultural Village, and they established a network for future collaboration aimed at promoting Thai arts and culture.
