On 10 April 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, participated in the Songkran Brunch at the Isaan Thai Restaurant, Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel, as part of the celebrations of the Thai New Year (Songkran) in Thailand. On this occasion, the Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. also met with Thai employees and customers, and inquired about their well-being amidst the current situation. The Royal Thai Embassy remains committed to promoting Thai cuisine and cultural heritage through Thai restaurants and businesses, with a view to further strengthening people-to-people ties between Thailand and Qatar.

Isaan Thai Restaurant is among the 12 Thai restaurants participating in “Together at the Table: Thailand & Qatar”, a special culinary initiative that brings the warmth of Thailand’s kitchens to tables across Qatar under the theme “From Thailand with Care.” The initiative features curated set menus, special promotional items, and selected complimentary touches, available throughout lunch, dinner, and all-day service.
