On 30 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on Eng. Ali Hilal Al Kuwari, CEO of Hassad Food and executives, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s assumption of duty. During the meeting, both sides discussed the overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Qatar, regional economic situation and ways to promote development on food and agriculture sectors, including means of collaboration to secure long-term food security for Qatar. H.E. Ambassador commended Qatar's significant development in the food and agriculture industry and initiatives regarding food security, and reiterated Thailand’s readiness to support its technological expertise in the food industry to Qatar. The CEO welcomed H.E. Ambassador to Qatar and expressed Hassad Food’s support in future cooperation and the Embassy's endeavors.
