The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha congratulates the Thai men’s national rugby team for winning the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy 2023 held in Doha on 3 – 4 November 2023. This victory has qualified Thailand to compete in the Asia Rugby Sevens Series for the first time in 8 years. During the tournament, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, cheered on the Thai national rugby team in all the matches.
