On 12 October 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized a ceremony on the occasion of the Navamindra Maharaja Day, observed on 13 October 2026. As a tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, H.E. Ms. Pensom Lertsithichai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, presided over the ceremony and led the Embassy's officials, staff, and spouses in paying homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.

 

As part of the commemorative activities, the Royal Thai Embassy donated 200 bottles of drinking water and UHT soy milk to Al-Mujadilah: Center & Mosque for Women, the first purpose-built contemporary women's mosque in the world, as well as mosques in the Embassy’s vicinity. This donation aimed to support worshippers attending prayers and extend goodwill to the local community on this significant occasion.
