On 7 October 2026, H.E. Ms. Pensom Lertsithichai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ways to strengthen Thailand-Qatar relations, with particular emphasis on strengthening high-level exchanges as important mechanisms to steer shared priorities into concrete outcomes. Both sides also highlighted the potential for further cooperation in areas that benefit both countries, particularly in the current global situation of new challenges.
