On 26 July 2026, Mr. Kit Devahastin, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, presided over a ceremony to pay homage and expressed profound condolences on the occasion of the fiftieth day following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita, Daughter of His Majesty the King of Thailand. The ceremony included a moment of silence, during which participants were invited to reflect upon performing good deeds in accordance with their faith as a tribute to Her Royal Highness.

On this occasion, the Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. delivered remarks conveying deepest sorrow and paid tribute to Her Royal Highness’s various contributions, particularly in the area of criminal justice. The ceremony was attended by officials and staff members of the Embassy, their spouses, and representatives of the Thai community in Qatar.
