H.E. Ms. Pensom Lertsithichai, Ambassador of Thailand to Qatar, Presents Letters of Credence to the Amir of Qatar

On 15 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Pensom Lertsithichai, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, had an audience with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, at the Amiri Diwan, on the occasion of presenting her Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar.

The Amiri Diwan organised a ceremonial reception in honour of H.E. Ambassador. A motorcade escorted H.E. Ambassador from the Ambassador’s Residence to the Amiri Diwan, where a guard of honour and a military band awaited her arrival. The military band performed the national anthems of Thailand and Qatar. H.E. Ambassador then inspected the guard of honour, accompanied by a representative of the Qatari Armed Forces, before proceeding to the audience with His Highness the Amir.

During the audience, His Highness the Amir welcomed H.E. Ambassador to the State of Qatar and conveyed his best wishes to Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand. The audience was attended by H.E. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; H.E. Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; H.E. Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhro, Director of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar; and Mr. Kittithep Devahastin Na Ayuthai, Deputy Head of Mission (Counsellor) of the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha.
