Amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Doha, the Royal Thai Embassy seized the chance to celebrate Thailand's rich culture through various engaging initiatives in Qatar. On 26 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, took centre stage with a heartwarming interview on Qatar Television. He extended heartfelt gratitude to all football fans, whether Thai, Qatari, or from around the world, for their unwavering support of the Thai national football team during the AFC Asian Cup. This not only underscores our strong and friendly ties between Thailand and Qatar but also sheds light on the charming aspects of Thai Identity, the amiable of Thai people, and the rich cultural heritage derived from Thailand's long history.

Moreover, H.E. Ambassador warmly invited everyone to explore the Thailand Pavilion at the Hello Asia event on Lusail Boulevard, open until 10 February 2024. Crafted in collaboration with Qatari Diar, the organizer of Hello Asia, the Thai Pavilion boasts a delightful array of Thai arts and culture. Visitors can enjoy captivating displays of traditional Thai musical instruments, explore a mini-Thai Bazaar offering delectable Thai foods and products, watch enticing promotional Thai tourism videos, and even capture delightful moments in a photo booth experience. Adding to the cultural exchange, Ms. Yanisa Thanomrod, Second Secretary, shared insights on Al Kass channel on 25 January 2024, discussing Thai culture with a focus on Thai cuisine, traditional clothing, and cultural bonds between Thailand and Qatar.

The Royal Thai Embassy extends sincere gratitude to members of the Thai community in Qatar who actively participated in the Mini Thai Bazaar at Thailand Pavilion at the Hello Asia event on Lusail Boulevard.
