On 25 January 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized the 1st Team Thailand meeting via video conference during the visit to Qatar by the Audit and Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand from 23 to 26 January 2024. H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar and Mr. Norachit Sinhaseni, Chairman of the Audit and Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, co-chaired the meeting, which featured representatives from Thai agencies with jurisdiction over the State of Qatar, including those based in Iran, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
The Audit and Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand comprises of experts from various fields to provide recommendations on effectiveness and audits for Thailand’s oversea offices. The Royal Thai Embassy organized this meeting under people-centered approach to enhance close consultation and collaborative efforts among the Thai agencies responsible for Qatar, with the goal of achieving unity towards Thailand's overarching goals of strengthening relations with Qatar.
