On 12 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar and his family participated in the Songkran Brunch event at the Isaan Thai Restaurant in the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel. Organizing during Songkran Festival 2024, the event represented vast array of authentic Thai cuisines and showcased Thai traditional performances, such as water splashing and Thai traditional dances. Such activity is part of the Royal Thai Embassy’s commitment on promoting Thai cuisine and heritage, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the people of Thailand and Qatar.
