On 4 April 2016, H.E. Mr. Soonthorn Chaiyindeepum, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr.  Soltan Bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister's Assistant for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, in order to present copies of the Letters of Credence as well as to officially introduce himself as a newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar. H.E. Ambassador Ibrahim Yousif Abdullah Fakhroo, Director of Protocol Department and H.E. Mr. Khalid Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Hamar, Director of Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, also presented on this occasion.
