On 2 March 2018, the Thai Language and Cultural School in Qatar organized the Thai Culture and Food Festival 2018 at the Embassy’s premises. The objective of the Festival is to promote traditional Thai products, foods, massage, art and cultural performances to the Qatari public. The Festival was well supported by over 20 Thai businesspersons and individuals in Qatar who brought many products and services to feature at the event. The Festival received well participation from the Thai and foreigners living in Qatar throughout the day. On this occasion, a grant from Royal Thai Embassy of 4,568 Qatari Riyals was also given to Ms. Kongkan Chitratanachinda, Principal of the Thai Language and Cultural School in Qatar, to be used for School’s activities.
