On 10 November 2023, H.E. Mr. Sira Swangsilpa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Qatar, along with his family and embassy officials, participated in the Thai Food Festival at the Saffron Thai Restaurant in the Banyan Tree Hotel. Thoughtfully curated annually, this year’s event was held on 9 – 11 November 2023, presenting a rich array of authentic Thai cuisines. Complementing the gastronomic delights were captivating Thai music performances, traditional Thai dances, a selection of decorative ornaments contributed by the Royal Thai Embassy to enhance the Thai experience.

The Royal Thai Embassy places significant importance on promoting Thai cuisine and identity, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the people of Thailand and Qatar. In addition to promoting Thai cuisine and traditional performance arts, the Royal Thai Embassy engages in various activities, including the Thai Language and Thai Culture School, Muay Thai demonstrations, and the publication of information about Thailand in print and online media.
